Gurdwara Bangla Sahib + India Gate + Khan Market

Today we went to see a very important Sikh temple in Delhi, the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. I think that this temple is the most beautiful monument I´ve seen so far in Delhi. JUST AMAZING. We where there for the dusk so the photos are incredible!
The "swimming pool" that they have in the temple is of "saked whater" so they go in there in order to purify themselves.

This guy is Vardhman, he saw Uri and me taking pictures and he offered himself to make a picture of us...then he kindly asked us to make him pictures. After the photo session, we had a brief chat and then he offered himself to explain us all the "temple" and show us what they normally do (the sikhs) then they go to pray. The experience has been very interesting and Vardhman was so kind with us! Increidible!

Uri has beed told that the 5 stars hotels in Delhi are impressive so we decided to go and visit one, the chosen one was "IDONTREMEMBERTHENAME" so I´ll put it ASAP. It was a 5* hotel near the India Gate.
We went to see the India Gate illuminated during the night!
And after that, walking to Khan Maket! (the photo of the metro was taken on the way back home)
We went to this "special" place we you can have a Crêpe of whatever you want (almost) but the sweet crêpes are so good and delicious! yumi yumi!
But how come? I had the chocolate milkshake! :)

Hauz Qazi Chowk + Red Fort + Jama Masjid + Raj Ghat

As we have been working all the week when finally saturday come we decided to visit some tourist places in Delhi....here we go once again!
Somewhere in between Hauz Qazi Chowk Metro station and the Red Fort is this amazing temple!
Here we are Uri, the cow and me! :D
Red Fort! (world heritage monument)

This reminds me somehow to the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. I was so deceptionated by the red fort....maybe I expected too much or maybe I´m not able to understand what i´m seeing and I need someone who can explain it to me....

When we left the Red Fort we suddenly saw Monkeys in the middle of the city!
Then we decided to go to Jama Masjid temple and on the way there we ended in the middle of Meena Bazar!
Nice child! they always want me to make pics of them!

This was FINALLY Jama Masjid monument. AWESOME!
We where so close to the Raj Ghat that we couldn´t resist to go! Is the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

Beautiful sharis!
Then we took an Auto rickshaw to go to Lajpat Nagar street market!

Dilli haat + saket.

Yesterday I went to shop some basic stuff...and look what I found! The fruity cheerios that I used to eat when I was little!
Today I meet up with Uri Mila, a Spanish guy and we went to Dilli Haat Traditional market. I found a lovely thing and bought it, it was so cheap and so cute!

After that we were hugry and as we don´t know that much the city we decided to go to Saket Selcect city walk for diner, and we ended up lost in the middle of nowhere...where we could make this amazing photos!

This photo is dedicated to all my Finnish Readers (or Mira ;) )
I´m in love with Delhi!

Gym + Travel cafe + Urban pind

Today I found out that there is a gym just infront of my "working place" so I´ll go there! yay!!!!
This is the advert I saw on the street!
After work Susanne and me went to the "Kunzum Travel café", in Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi to make some "business". I think that cafe is awesome! Really good idea with all the book guides and all that interesting photographs! Simply AMAZING!

On the way back home I saw this: A NEW TEMPLE!
In the evening I meet Mathieu, a French (indian) guy and my flat mate Anja, at Urban Pind (N block). I didn´t like it that much, but if you want to feel like "in europe" you just need to go there. 10€ one mojito. COOL. If I come back there is because I get free drinks just because I´m a girl not because I like it. Believe me.

Mathieu and Anja!
