Orchha + Rishikesh 2 (camp)

Hello people!!

I know that I have been absent for a long time....but I was enjoying life.... :D

I went one weekend with Susi, Flora and Anne to Orchha. It was when the summer was starting to be really hot so we suffered 40º....

We went to a homestay called "friends of orchha" and we loved it so much, we stay with a local family, they cook for us and it was very nice to be out of Delhi for a While.

Orchha has a river and lots of temples. We rented bicycles to be able to go to a part of the river where we could actually have a swim! We went 3 km far and we enjoyed all day long there....but on our way back we realized that two of the three cycles had a puncture. WE called our contact person in town and he helped us coming back to the town! :)

We went to play with boys and girls one evening, we play volleyball!

That day there was something good about the "stars" so lots of couples were getting married and we saw at least 6 weddings! Here you can see one "procesion" on the street. the ones with flowers are the ones that are getting married.

The boy with the cap just bought a new bike so he is making a PUJA to his bike, that basically means that the priest is making the bike "safe" for the boy. The other two persons in the picture are the parents of the boy.

In Orchha there were like 3 or 4 spanish restaurants and everyone in town knew how to speak spanish, at least the classic: "hola". awesome!

We went to Orchha by train, and the nearest railway station was Jhansi.

The other trip that I have done recently is: Rishikesh for my second time. This time with Sonal and his family.

15 min walking from the camp was this amazing waterfall. :D

Again rafting in the GANGA! :D love it love it love it love it!!!!!
